Dr. Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger is an international jurist, professor, and author in sustainable development law. She has been a Councillor of the World Future Council, Executive Secretary of the Climate Law and Governance Initiative, and previously, Senior Legal Expert with the International Development Law Organization, and Co-lead of the World Bank Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development Thematic Working Group on Environmental Law and Natural Resources, Chair of the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) Biodiversity Law and Governance Initiative, and on the boards of the International Law Association of Canada and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) of Canada.

Free wine, soft drinks and vegan food will be provided – with a great opportunity for networking after the talk.

Accessibility Access: There are disabled toilets in the Winstanley lecture theatre, and is accessible via lift, with spaces in the lecture theatre for wheelchairs. Induction loops are also installed in the theatre.
