If you have a question about this talk, please contact Mari Huhtala. Digital interface designers often assume that users will have a certain level of digital interface competence, but this is often not the case. In this talk I will present results from a recent survey we ran showing how basic technology competence is distributed across the population, and examining variables that affect this. There will also be a chance to discuss issues around conducting and running surveys more generally. This talk is part of the Engineering Design Centre Seminars series.
