We are delighted to announce that this November Professor Kate Pickett will give a public lecture on the topic of ‘Health Impacts of Economic Inequalities’ in Cambridge. In view of high levels of income and wealth inequality in the UK and around the globe, such questions as ‘How do economic inequalities impact societies?’ and ‘How are socioeconomic status and health outcomes related?’ are of central importance—socially, politically, and economically.
