If you have a question about this talk, please contact Mari Huhtala. When you’re in the depths of PhD research it can be hard to imagine what your career could look like outside of academia. In this talk I’ll share my experiences of going from a PhD in engineering to a career in product management. I’ll cover what product management actually is, how I’ve found my PhD helpful and some of the challenges I’ve faced. This talk should be useful for those thinking about what they want to do next and how to apply the value of their PhD in their future career.
