In the 2019 Kate Pretty Lecture Onora O’Neill, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and former Principal of Newnham College, will argue that the concepts have become dangerously separated, with ethics seen as culturally specific or even a matter of individual conscience, while justice aspires to universal standards.
