If you have a question about this talk, please contact Matheus Nunes. Intensive agriculture as conventionally practiced is characterized by high yields and substantial environmental harm. The emergence of potential markets for ecosystem services offers a way to incentivize outputs other than yield but requires an integrated approach and an ecological understanding that considers various trade-offs. Research in the US Midwest shows how farmers might provide ecosystem services such as climate change mitigation. This talk is part of the mhn27's list series.
