If you have a question about this talk, please contact Kasia Wyczesany. The thermodynamic formalism can be extended to take into account ensembles of trajectories followed by a system, giving access to richer phenomena than equilibrium thermodynamics. In particular, I will present how dynamical phase transitions can appear in this ensemble, and will detail an example for a simple system. This talk is part of the Part III Seminars series.
