The Japanese Society in Cambridge (JSC) is a voluntary organization, managed mainly by Japanese-speaking scholars (Japanese and non-Japanese nationals) in departments, colleges and institutions of the Cambridge University, as well as Japanese-speaking people studying, working and living in and around Cambridge area, and their families. The society aims to promote mutual friendship and information exchange between its members. The society’s regular meeting is held on every first Sunday of the month, where there is an interdisciplinary lecture given in Japanese. There are also other events such as BBQ party, punting, and New Year party. University lecturers, staff, postdocs, graduate/undergraduate students, their families and the public from outside the university are all welcome!
