The MMP runs a local programme of popular maths lectures for primary and secondary schools and the general public. Past lectures have included John Conway talking about the Game of Life, Simon Singh on codebreaking and various lectures on the mathematical concepts underlying diabetes, avalanches and choosing the right marriage partner (information about forthcoming lectures is available on the MMP website).
