6 Ways to Work with PDFs that Double Your Productivity

Add to your list(s) Send you e-mail reminders

  1. You can edit a PDF by converting it into Word using software such Wondershare PDFelement. To make changes to the PDF , you would need to type it again on a blank document. Print the PDF and white out any text. Then, you can write over the text and scan the document again. Both of these processes take a lot of time. This is not necessary anymore. Do yourself a favor and convert the PDF into Word so that you can edit the text in Word before saving it as a pdf. Uploading to Google Docs is an easy and fast way to convert PDFs to a.docx or.docx. Be aware that some software may alter the formatting and spacing of your PDF files. Make sure to double-check before you upload your file.
  1. Sign a PDF

Do you need to sign a PDF ? It was traditional to sign the PDF and then rescan it. However, this is not cost-effective or efficient. You don’t want delays in business transactions or filing important financial or legal paperwork due to the fact that so much paperwork is being sent electronically or file-sharing sites. You can save trees and time by signing electronically. You can add your signature to a PDF using a paid service such as Docusign (great to consider if this is something you need to do professionally), or you can check this article for free options.

  1. Transform a PDF into a photo

You may have encountered problems with PDFs if you regularly share image files or if you are a web developer who works with PDF images. Although PDFs are crisp and high-resolution, it can be more difficult for you to email them than an image file. With so many people using mobile devices to access the internet, it is possible that PDFs may not be accessible on their phones or tablets. Website developers need to ensure that users have the Adobe app installed or an external plugin. This will slow down the download of the PDF and prevent thousands from being able to view it. You can also convert PDF to JPG format. Although the resolution of the images will be lower, it is still possible to convert to JPG format. JPG files can be opened, saved and accessed on mobile phones or tablets. Project management tools are more adept at dealing with image files than PDFs. A PDF to PNG converter is another option to convert PDFs to images. This feature is especially helpful for graphic designers, who often need to modify logos and images with text.

  1. Combine PDFs

This may not seem like something you would use frequently, but it is much more useful than that. You want to present your work in a comprehensive and impressive manner to clients, managers, or colleagues? You’ll need to learn how to merge PDFs so that you can combine multiple file types into one elegant presentation. This tip will help you merge Excel spreadsheets, pie graphs, graphic imagery, and text into one document. First convert multiple files into an OCR pdf to merge them. Pro tip: Make sure you find a PDF editor that supports file merging.

  1. Erase existing text

If you are frequently filling out eforms or need to hide sensitive information in a document before sharing, you can use the ability to delete existing text and add new material. Wondershare PDFelement is one of the PDF editors that allows you to add images and shapes, as well as image to text. You can use an arrow to highlight a section of the PDF or draw a box around it for visual reference.

  1. Remove pages

Simplify, simplify and simplify. We all struggle with information overload, no matter how hard we try. It is important to be able to cut through the noise to get things done. You have a lot of documentation or contracts that you need to send to your co-workers, but only need their input on a few pages. A tool allows you to remove pages from a PDF . This will allow you to quickly get the information you need to those who are most in demand. It also makes it easier to reply to them in person.
