Vote Leave whistleblower Shahmir Sanni joins Pembroke Politics to speak on the topic of ‘How the White Man stole democracy (again)’. After working as a volunteer in the Vote Leave campaign, last year Shahmir exposed the overspending and electoral corruption undertaken by the official Leave campaign, including a donation of £625,000 which made its way to a digital services firm linked to Cambridge Analytica.

Shahmir will speak on how electoral corruption and social media manipulation has influenced recent democratic processes in what is set to be a thought-provoking and pertinent talk.

As always, cheese and wine will be provided and there will be time for questions at the end.
