The Silk Railway, recently opened, follows the old Silk Route between Moscow and Hong Kong via Samarkand.
Stuart Baker is the Editor of the Rail Atlas of Great Britain & Ireland. Now in its 11th edition, after 30 years the Atlas has proved to be an invaluable source for both the railway industry and enthusiasts.
