Joint surface injuries affect both man and animals, making research into their treatment a genuine example of a ‘One Health’ approach. In my talk I will explore treating joint surface injuries using regenerative medicine strategies in addition to exploring some of the molecular mechanisms underlying key processes. I will also share my experiences of working, as a vet, within a medical environment and how vets can play a key role in multidisciplinary team research This talk is part of the Departmental Seminar Programme, Department of Veterinary Medicine series.
