Refreshments available from 4.15pm This seminar series is organised by Christine Counsell cc247@cam.ac.uk and Michael Fordham maf44@cam.ac.uk of the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge SEMINAR 1 Schools and the entitlement to knowledge for all. The series will present and examine debates concerning the relationship between knowledge, curriculum, disciplines and social justice. The series will bring into conversation sociological and philosophical perspectives, whole-school leadership and subject perspectives, and, with particular emphasis on the history curriculum, changing curricular conversations concerning disciplinary knowledge in contrasting cultural and socio-political contexts.
