This event will provide both a presentation about Lesson Study used to support problem solving and discussion about the potential for schools to get involved in further work in this area.

Geoff Wake, from the University of Nottingham, will describe how lesson study has been used to research and develop students’ problem solving skills and set out plans for a new, Nuffield funded, research project that takes forward and expands on work to-date.

This will be followed by an opportunity to discuss possibilities of getting involved in the work of the new project at a local level in partnership with the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education and NRich Project.

This talk is part of the List Closed series.
