For our Christmas event we thought it would be fun to focus on some of the fantastic independent food retailers that have sprung up in Cambridge over the last few years.

This year saw the publication of Independent Cambridge, (http://www.independent-cambridge.co.uk/) a directory that celebrates all that is good about the many independent Cambridge retailers. For our Christmas event we thought it would be fun to focus on some of the fantastic independent food retailers that have sprung up in Cambridge over the last few years. From Chelsea buns to champagne, from chocolate to cheese these retailers are thriving. Come and hear how a number of these businesses started and their experiences of being independent in Cambridge – and their challenges once Christmas is over. We will be getting into the Christmas spirit early this year – come to see (and taste!) some surprisingly local businesses!
