If you have a question about this talk, please contact Michele Ide-Smith. Free ticket We are very pleased to have award-winning UX consultant, Sophie Freiermuth, share her experience with us at the end of September. She will provide insights from her attendance and her talk at the recent Agile 2013 conference in Nashville, TN and her thoughts on how Agile and design disciplines like UX, Design and Content can work. Some stories of companies that make it work, and some thoughts on how to board onto an agile team and work best with them. A wide reaching talk, for current and potential UX practitioners in an agile environment. About Sophie Freiermuth Sophie is an award-winning User Experience Consultant currently working as a freelancer and running her consultancy Baguette UX. Her seven years’ UX experience have seen her work on some of the world’s biggest brands including Nokia, Nike, Xbox, Fiat and American Express. Sophie has worked on pure Agile projects as well as experimented extensively with her teams on the optimum format and pace to ensure the best result and quality. When she’s not caring for her clients’ projects, Sophie can be found around the UX scene, in London and abroad, on a mission to grow better skills within the community and to develop a sensitivity towards good user experiences in neighbouring disciplines: dev, design, etc. Sponsorship We are grateful to Red Gate Software for sponsoring post-talk drinks (Salisbury Arms, 3 minutes’ walk) and to Microsoft Research Cambridge for hosting the talk itself.
