ReCoS is happy to announce the first Cambridge Comparative Syntax conference! We intend CamCoS to be an annual meeting, discussing various themes in the field of comparative syntax. The theme for the first workshop is ‘Ergativity’, which will be approached from different angles by the following invited speakers:

Jessica Coon, Roberta D’Alessandro, Geoffrey Khan, Itziar Laka, Milan Rezac, and Lisa Travis.

The conference will take place 18th-19th May 2012 on the Sidgwick site of the University of Cambridge, and is organised by the ReCoS team, consisting of Ian Roberts, Theresa Biberauer, Michelle Sheehan, Jenneke van der Wal, Alison Biggs and Tim Bazalgette.
