If you have a question about this talk, please contact f.bycroft. The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning is running a workshop in conjunction with Enterprise Educators UK on Monday 11 April 2011 from 10:30-16:00 at the Hauser Forum in Cambridge. The objective is to exchange information and insights into how cross campus courses, both extra-curricular and taught modules, can be run to foster a spirit of enterprise and simultaneously create social networks. Contributors will include CfEL’s Dr Shai Vyakarnam; David Molian, Cranfield University; Nigel Culkin, University of Hertfordshire; and Sharon Phillips, University of Sussex, focussing on the successful life of a programme, case study creation and application, social networks of students and staff and how one inspirational course has influenced the evolution of enterprise programmes elsewhere. We plan to have two panel discussion sessions. The first will be relatively short sharp presentations from the contributing institutions with plenty of time for Q+A. The second panel session will comprise of topics as submitted by attendees of this workshop by the 1st of April 2011. We will make a selection to ensure there is no duplication of topics but, in essence, it is on a first come, first served basis for up to 4 panellists. Between the panel sessions, we will run parallel small group discussion groups using interactive methods to drill deeper into issues that arise in the Q+A. By the end of such sessions, you will be able to take away several practical ideas to implement. For further information and to submit topics, please contact Frances Bycroft by email at f.bycroft@jbs.cam.ac.uk by 1st April 2011. Date: Monday 11th April 2011, 10.30am – 4.00pm Location: Hauser Forum, Cambridge, University of Cambridge West Cambridge Site, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT . Register: Please book online at https://sales.admin.cam.ac.uk/events/eventdetails.asp?eventid=204. The fees for this event are £45 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments.
