Chair: Dr Carolina Armenteros Christopher Brooke is the Isaiah Berlin Research Fellow in Political Theory in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Balliol College. His work has appeared in The Historical Journal, Grotiana, Les études philosophiques and the New Left Review, and he is currently completing a book manuscript entitled Philosophic Pride: Stoicism and Political Thought from Lipsius to Rousseau.
