This talk introduces beginners with no previous experience of social-media monitoring tools to the use of COSMOS for social research. COSMOS (http://socialdatalab.net/COSMOS) is open data analytics software maintained and distributed by the Social Data Science Lab of Cardiff University funded by ESRC . The COSMOS application is available at no cost to academic institutions and not-for-profit organisations. The newer version of COSMOS is recently released with a new features will be demonstrated as part of the talk. The first hour of the talk will be an introduction to COSMOS and the second hour will demonstrate it through presentation of a case study. This talk is part of the dg537's list series.
