Abstract
This talk will give a brief review of antibody structure and then focus on databases and methods that we have developed for their analysis. Our new integrated database of antibody sequence and structure will be presented together with a tool for applying standard numbering schemes in an automated manner. Analysis of the results of using this tool suggest data widely used by the immunology community contain many errors. I will also present an analysis of the ‘humanness’ of antibody sequences together with analysis and prediction of the VH/VL packing angle with application to antibody modelling and humanization.
