Graphical Combinator Programming
- đ¤ Speaker: Christian Steinruecken
- đ Date & Time: Wednesday 26 July 2006, 16:00 - 17:00
- đ Venue: Ryle Seminar Room, Cavendish Laboratory
Abstract
This talk presents the theory and implementation of a graphical programming environment based on combinatory logic, illuminating both its computational background and aspects of human-computer-interaction. This “purely functional” drag-and-drop programming will be contrasted to other visual programming styles, along with a discussion on merits and limitations. There will be a live demonstration, and members of the audience are welcome to play with the prototype after (or during) the presentation.
Series This talk is part of the Inference Group series.
