Abstract
I will discuss some phase diagrams in ferroelectric crystals of recent interest. These exhibit some first-order transitions between structures of the same symmetry (unusual in Nature), tricritical points, critical end points, and Lifshitz points. Some new work being undertaken with Stephen Rowley and Gil Lonzarich on Quantum Critical points (transitions at exactly T=0 Kelvin) will be included.
