DESCRIPTION:I will discuss some phase diagrams in ferroelectric crystals o
 f recent interest. These exhibit some first-order transitions between stru
 ctures of the same symmetry (unusual in Nature)\, tricritical points\, cri
 tical end points\, and Lifshitz points. Some new work being undertaken wit
 h Stephen Rowley and Gil Lonzarich on Quantum Critical points (transitions
  at exactly T=0 Kelvin) will be included.
