Partial Differential Equations in Kinetic Theories
We present results of existence for sprays equations. Those are systems in which a Vlasov (or Vlasov-Fokker-Planck, or Vlasov-Boltzmann) equation is coupled with an equation of fluid mechanics (compressible or incompressible Euler; compressible or incompressible Navier-stokes; or even Boltzmann). They model complex flows in which a dispersed (liquid or solid) phase interacts with a gas. We detail the latest results, obtained with Laurent Boudin, Cline Granmont and Ayman Moussa, and corresponding to incompressible viscous thin sprays.
