QMUL has been designing and building semiconductor based radiation detectors for decades. Until a decade ago the focus was exclusively on charged particle detection for high energy physics. Since that time we have branched out to explore organic semiconductor and diamond detectors, targeting fast and thermal neutron detector development. In this contribution I present the latest results from our group in developing new approaches for detecting fast and thermal neutrons.

This talk is part of the Cavendish HEP Seminars series.
