SUMMARY:Semiconductor-based neutron detector development at QMUL - Adrian
John Bevan (Queen Mary University of London)

DESCRIPTION:QMUL has been designing and building semiconductor based radia
tion detectors for decades. Until a decade ago the focus was exclusively
on charged particle detection for high energy physics. Since that time w
e have branched out to explore organic semiconductor and diamond detectors
\, targeting fast and thermal neutron detector development. In this contr
ibution I present the latest results from our group in developing new appr
oaches for detecting fast and thermal neutrons.
