Rabbi Baroness Neuberger DBE , Senior Rabbi West London Synagogue- was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, and Leo Baeck College, London. She has held a number of distinguished posts including CEO of the King’s Fund, a UK health charity, the Bloomberg Professor of Divinity at Harvard University and Chair of the review of the Liverpool Care Pathway for Dying Patients. Rabbi Julia is Senior Rabbi of West London Synagogue and serves on the Board of the Van Leer Group Foundation and Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. She is a founding trustee of the Schwab Charitable Trust, set up in memory of her parents. Baroness Neuberger is a social commentator, writing and broadcasting regularly on a variety of social and religious issues. Among her books is ‘Not Dead Yet: A Manifesto for Old Age (2008)’ and ‘Is That All There Is?: Thoughts on the meaning of life and leaving a legacy(2011)’ The Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research aims to inform policy through evidence-based research on health services in the UK and internationally. It is a collaboration between the Health Services Research Group at the Institute of Public Health, University of Cambridge, and the Health and Healthcare Programme at RAND Europe.
