If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jesse Mu. I will explain what a superfluid is, why we care about it, and how to simulate it. Then I will discuss vortex nucleation from hydrofoils in water, and how we might expect this to translate to foils in superfluids. Finally, I will close with a discussion of the results of my research studying nucleation in superfluids.
