Ozan Aşık will talk about the transformation of the power network and social dynamics in Turkish media in terms of political economy and ideology, and then discuss alternative, dissenting and subversive forms of journalistic practice. We will explore the struggle between Erdoğan’s AKP and resisting journalists, and also the divergence along the Islamic-secular axis.
