This seminar explores the contemporary role of the European Schools, institutions founded 60 years ago to educate the children of EU employees. We look at issues surrounding curriculum modernisation in the face of extensive and highly politicised stakeholder engagement. The seminar then outlines a recent initiative aimed at reforming upper secondary provision, which highlighted a number of important issues relevant to the broader study of curriculum in the 21st century.
