If you have a question about this talk, please contact kg404. Peer-mentoring can provide valuable support for postdocs at critical points in their career and it offers a host of other benefits for both mentor and mentee. In a recent survey, postdocs in the Plant Science department have expressed an interest in a mentoring system for CRS . To follow up on it, we invited Dr Sharon Saunders from the Personal and Professional Development Program for an introductory session about mentoring and mentoring schemes. We hope that many of you can join us to start discussing what we can do and want to do in the department to establish a successful and appropriate mentor and mentee scheme. After the session, we will host a Beer Hour in the tea room to hopefully continue the discussion (and to socialise). The session is open to everybody interested (not just CRS ).
