Cambridge Genomic Services is organising a Genomics seminar with Affymetrix covering the latest developments for genotyping and gene expression. There will be three talks covering the issues facing researchers in these fields. Topics will include transcriptome analysis (RNA profiling of coding, non-coding and miRNA transcripts); applications for human and agrigenomics for GWAS , targeted genotyping or expression studies; and Dr Robert Scott from the MRC Epidemiology Unit will give a presentation on a large-scale genotyping study on the UK Biobank array.
