New for 2015, the Antcliffe Lecture has been established following a donation in the name of John Antcliffe, who studied History at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, before going on to become a respected public relations professional. In addition to supporting the new lecture series, the John Antcliffe Memorial Fund is sponsoring a new by-fellowship at the Churchill Archive Centre at Churchill College. Organised by the Department of Politics and International Studies, Churchill College and the John Antcliffe Memorial Fund, the inaugural Antcliffe Lecture will be given by the Rt Hon. The Lord Howard of Lympne, CH QC , on “Thatcherism Today” The lecture will begin at 5.30pm, and will last for 50 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions. There will then be a reception in the foyer of the McCrum Lecture Theatre. Those wishing to attend should email (hw407@cam.ac.uk) to reserve a space.
