If you have a question about this talk, please contact Thomas Daniels. Trinity Hill History Society is proud to present its second event of the year, a talk by Professor Jane Ohlemyer. A visiting professor at Cambridge this year, Professor Ohlmeyer has made significant contributions to the field of Early Modern Irish and British political history in her position as Erasmus Smith’s Professor of Modern History at Trinity College Dublin. In this talk, she shall be discussing the nature of the Irish Aristocracy in the seventeenth century. Though potentially enlightening for History Undergraduates taking Part I, Paper 4, the event is open to historians and non-historians alike and is sure to be of interest to those unfamiliar with the period in question. Refreshments shall be provided prior to the event. This talk is part of the Trinity Hall History Society series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
