The Secret Life of Books: University Library Tour

Take a tour of the University Library and discover its 600 year history and famous architecture. Look behind the scenes and learn about its role as a Legal Deposit (copyright) library and discover its unique special collections.

All tours to be led by a member of University Library staff and will include a visit to the Reading Room, closed access book storage areas, Legal Deposit and a display of special collections material (e.g. maps and / or music scores).

The suggested tour route is partially accessible. Tour participants may like to call the University Library (01223 333030) for further details:

Tour Dates as follows:-

Tuesday 24 June 11:00-12:00

Wednesday 25 June 14:30-15:30

Thursday 26 June 11:00-12:00

Friday 27 June 14:30-15:30

All tour participants to be aged 16 or over
