This talk has been canceled/deleted The Kinect sensor has opened up the possibilities of touchless interaction in many different environments beyond simply gaming. However, our understanding of how users want and need to interact with a system through gestures is still very limited. With this presentation I will present our challenges and successes in designing a system for surgeons to manipulate 3D anatomical images during surgery through touchless interaction.
