As a part of Refugee Action Week (Feb 22nd- 26th), this panel will give you the chance to hear the experiences and perspectives of professionals and students working with refugees in the UK. They will challenge existing myths regarding the numbers, the experiences and the institutional Odyssey of refugees in the UK and will give you their first-hand account of the issues, affecting more than 300, 000 refugees and asylum-seekers in the country. You will also be able to hear the personal stories of refugee women and former asylum-seeker detainees. This talk is part of the SPS Society series.
