Join us for this timely conversation exploring how economic policy can be shaped and implemented in an era where expert opinion and evidence are increasingly contested. After the panel discussion and Q&A, guests are invited to the drinks reception that will follow. Bios Dr Todd Tucker | As director of the industrial policy and trade program at the Roosevelt Institute, Todd, a political scientist, leads Roosevelt’s work on the role of governance and institutions (both national and international) in facilitating economic transformation. Dr Jostein Hauge | A political economist and an assistant professor in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge, Jostein’s research lies at the intersection of international political economy and development economics. Dr Shachi Amdekar | An international and development economist, currently leading policy development on global economic resilience at the Cabinet Office. This talk is part of the jf840's list series.
