Gates Cambridge and Centre of Development Studies are excited to host a panel discussion on “Doing Economic Policy in Anti-Policy Times” with Dr Todd Tucker, Dr Jostein Hauge, and Dr Shachi Amdekar.

Join us for this timely conversation exploring how economic policy can be shaped and implemented in an era where expert opinion and evidence are increasingly contested.

Bios Dr Todd Tucker | As director of the industrial policy and trade program at the Roosevelt Institute, Todd, a political scientist, leads Roosevelt’s work on the role of governance and institutions (both national and international) in facilitating economic transformation.

Dr Jostein Hauge | A political economist and an assistant professor in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge, Jostein’s research lies at the intersection of international political economy and development economics.

Dr Shachi Amdekar | An international and development economist, currently leading policy development on global economic resilience at the Cabinet Office.
