If you have a question about this talk, please contact Oliver Knight. Neuromodulation therapy involves the use of brain stimulation to treat psychiatric disorders. Stimulation can involve electrical, magnetic or ultrasound including both invasive and non-invasive methods resulting in changes in brain networks, neurophysiology and plasticity. This talk is a broad overview of the latest in neuromodulation therapies for psychiatry including deep brain stimulation, transcranial magnetic stimulation and transcranial electrical stimulation. The talk is clinically relevant and covers cutting-edge mechanistic insights from recent studies on intracranial recordings and brain-computer interfaces for psychiatry.
