Andrea Aramburú-Villavisencio, Dibyadyuti Roy, and Joe Sutliff Sanders will discuss their book in progress, an edited collection for understanding comics in the Global South within methodologies developed for those cultural contexts. They will talk about the path from concept to publication, the importance of open-access publishing, and some of the major insights that are emerging from the project.
