If you have a question about this talk, please contact Damien Macedo. In the Web3 space, Decentralised Autonomous Organisations or DAOs are fundamental in reflecting the decentralised nature of community governance based on blockchain technology. Instead of a central authority that makes decisions for a protocol, a DAO is a community driven entity where decisions are made by consensus of its members (or holders of its governance tokens) who vote on the details of the proposed transaction. In this informative session, we will be discussing latest trends affecting DAOs including legal wrappers, tokenholder governance mechanics, legal and practical considerations for administering a DAO and tokenholder liability protection.
