Cambridge was an important and vibrant medieval city, but very little of its medieval history is obvious on the surface. This talk takes the audience on a walk around medieval Cambridge (1200-1500 CE). We use insights from a long-term, multi-disciplinary scientific study of 500+ skeletons to get a sense of the real human presence—how different kinds of people lived and interacted within the urban landscape.
