I’ll be talking about my Part II project, which is attempting to find an optimal solution to the Word Soup game that can be found on pub quiz machines. It involves recognising the game board from a screenshot, using an exhaustive search function to find high scoring words, and heuristics to improve speed and the ability to clear the game board.
