If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dacia Viejo Rose. “The War is Over” tells of a family of Serb Albanians exiled to Switzerland during the Kosovo crisis, an intimate narrative that reflects the common immigrant experience in the age of globalization. Can a good man hold up under the excruciating pressures of war, exile and deportation? Can his love for an estranged brother, a troubled son, and a defiant wife overcome the misery of a hopeless soul? Will he be able to re-build his life and make sense of it? This world premiere will be followed by a question and answer session with the Director, Mitko Panov, and the Producer of the film, Gareth Jones of Babylon Films. This talk is part of the Cambridge Post-Conflict and Post-Crisis Group series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
