Screening of the documentary “From Sudan to Argentina” on the excavations of Aksha, north Sudan within the UNESCO salvage campaign of the monuments of Nubia in the 1960s and 70s. The film producer, Ricardo Preve, will join us for a discussion with archaeologists at Cambridge on Sudanese and Nubian heritage, war in Sudan, and decolonisation from the perspective of Latin America.
