If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. ERC Horizon 2020 Urban Ecologies Lecture Thomas Lemke is a Professor of Sociology at Goethe University, Frankfurt. His work on the social implications of the life sciences have advanced social theory, particularly debates on governmentality and biopolitics. The author and editor of more than fifteen books, including the ground-breaking Biopolitics: An Advanced Introduction, Prof Lemke’s work has been translated into Danish, Dutch, English, Korean, Polish, Portuguese and Turkish. He is currently working on a book on Foucault and new materialisms, which will form the basis of his lecture. This talk is part of the Department of Geography - other talks series.
