If you have a question about this talk, please contact Vicki Harley. This talk is a great opportunity to learn about the latest discoveries at Vindolanda, one of the UK’s most important Roman sites. Recent excavations at Vindolanda have continued to produce a wonderful array of artefacts, evidence and buildings from the earliest occupation by Roman soldiers and their support communities. This talk draws together some of the finest examples and discoveries from the recent excavations. Andy is the third generation of his family to direct excavations for the Vindolanda Trust. He has worked full-time at Vindolanda since 1996, becoming director of Excavations in 2005.
