Health systems throughout the world are searching for better ways of responding to present and future challenges. The United Kingdom is no exception in this innovative process. Health systems at present face a real challenge: they have to provide results with an incomplete model of life and health. This talk aims to emphasise that the metaphysical side of an individual may have an answer to understand the puzzle. It has a potential to deal with illness at its roots and bring a new understanding to the concept of Health itself.

Speaker: Dr Prashant Kakoday

Dr Prashant Kakoday is based in Cambridge and has a background in E.N.T. surgery and integrated health. His main interest is in the relationship between the psyche, emotions, behaviour and health. Prashant has spoken on these subjects in many countries and institutions, including the W.H.O. and the Medical Teaching Program within the U.S.A.
